The first thing that struck me as odd with cold cathode was the way that people were able to make their cases glow. I remember when I first starting seeing an enormous amount of people, mainly hardware enthusiasts, with glowing cases. I asked myself how did they do that? When one of my overclocking buddies told me it was from the light emitted from a cold cathode. I exclaimed, cold cathodes are for parties and disco dancing, why the hell would I want to put that crap in my case! pondering that though I also wanted that trick look in my case as well. Finally a year later I purchased my first cold cathode and was rather pleased with the results, but I wanted more colors!

Sunbeam is a relatively new company, probably not in cold cathodes but in manufacturing cold cathodes for the computer enthusiast. Their kits are very complete, down to the Velcro needed to mount the light, as well as, the heat shrink wrapped light controller. The kits also come complete with a Switch and a washer to mount the switch. You could even mount the switch on a front panel that is predrilled to size given that the wire leads for the light are long enough, even for a case such as the Lian Li PC-75.

Here you can see the components of the kit itself.
