DFI LAN Party Pro875B

We all know who the big players are in the enthusiast motherboard market. ASUS, ABIT, EPoX... This year you can add DFI to that list. In fact, I'm willing to bet that DFI will be topping that list by mid 2004. DFI has exploded onto the enthusiast and gaming scene in the past year, and it's only a matter of time before they become everyone's first choice. Take a look at the LAN Party NFII Ultra B motherboard. Straight out of the box, this board is the fastest, and most overclockable Socket-A motherboards on the market today. As for their Intel boards, they are pretty new, but yet extremely fast and overclocker friendly. We've taken a look at pretty much everything DFI has to offer, this time we take a look at the best Pentium 4 motherboard DFI has to offer, the LAN Party Pro875B.

As you can see by the chart above, the Pro875B is loaded! The only thing DFI skips is IEEE1394, but to be honest, I don't know of anyone who uses it anyway. One of the biggest and newest features is CMOS Reloaded. CMOS Reloaded is a huge enhancement to help out us Overclockers by saving our favorite settings. We'll talk about this new feature more later on in the review. One other nice feature is that this board has both Serial ATA RAID (two ports) and IDE RAID (two ports). Most boards on the market today give you one or the other, but rarely both. You can find a very nice interactive page explaining all the features of this board here.
