CrazyPC UV Reactive Dye
As
liquid cooled computers become more popular, so are the accessories. One
such cooling accessory is UV reactive dye. The dye is simply added to
the coolant. Toss in a black light and the clear tubing of your water
cooling system glow! This is a very simple mod and really adds to the
looks of your case.

One
of the few places that carry UV Dye is
CrazyPC. At $8.99
per bottle, there is enough to treat up to 2 litters of coolant. Just be
sure that you add the dye to pure, untreated distilled water. Other
water treatments may ruin the effect of the dye.

CrazyPC has the UV dye in three colors; red, blue and green. The lighter
colors such as the green are always better to go with because the light
up more brightly. However, the dark colors like red and blue are
extremely cool too.

Above is 1 litter of distilled water with the blue UV dye added. The
picture was taken with very little light so the picture is a little
blurry so it's hard to show just how bright the blue dye glows. A real
life demonstration is really the only way to show off these cool colors.
Overall, CrazyPC's UV Dye works very well and the price isn't
outrageous. This is one of the easiest mods you can make on a water
cooled system.
